Skylight Insulation

Granmore’s fitters have been trying something a little different from just  ceiling tiles this week.

Our customer had a large area with a skylight in to let in the light, however the problem they were having was that this also let all the heat out resulting in a very cold space.Our fitters installed a 5meters squared area with 16mm Triple Polycarbonate, which is a clear sheet that still lets all the light through while keeping the heat in.

Around this we installed A suspended ceiling along with our ND Fissured ceiling tiles and LED lighting.

Above the Ceiling tiles we fitted thick insulation.

All of this made the space a lot warmer to work in and the customer is very happy with the results.
